The main scope

The 2024 Clocks Circular Economy Summer School will focus on design for the circular economy and sustainability. Experts from academia and companies will address the following question:

How can we create durable, reusable, repairable and recyclable products from raw materials that are not harmful to living beings and the natural environment through energy-efficient, non-polluting and zero-waste production?

The special feature of this school is the opportunity to discuss with the experts after the lectures.

Teaching topics

  • Materials and ecodesign: glass, paper, textile, food
  • Circular chemistry
  • Manufacturing for circularity: electromotors, mobile phones
